Classes

Gloryland Family Farmstead offers classes not only for those already living on farmsteads, but to anyone with an interest in learning more about producing their own healthy products!  Our classes are geared both for the "Suburban Farmette" set (folks and families desiring to produce more on their smaller urban and suburban properties), and for those starting out on their own farmsteading adventures or wanting to expand into new family farming enterprises.

Some of the classes and workshops Gloryland Family Farmstead offers include:

     -  Beginning Cheesemaking (goat and cow soft cheeses and mozzarella)

     -  Soapmaking  (old-fashioned milk-based soaps)

     -  Vintage Homemaking Skills  (learn to make yogurt, kefir, buttermilk and butter, and
how to preserve food through canning your own vegetables, fruit and meats)

    -  Raising Rabbits for Meat (aspects of beginning a rabbitry to supply meat for your family
or your cats and dogs on raw meat diets)

     -  Dairy Goats   (how to get started raising dairy goats and
producing your own milk, cheese, and soap!)

      -  "The Suburban Farmette"   (how to produce your own organic produce, fruit, milk, eggs,
and honey - even if you have less than an acre or just an urban lot!)

      -  The Family Farmstead  (bring your family and learn how to start producing your own
healthy food as you become more self-sustaining on your own several acres!)

Classes and workshops will be held at the farm in Hendersonville, Tennessee.  Selected classes could be held at your home or a venue of your choice depending on our schedule.

Please email for more information and a list of the upcoming schedule!
